Rights and obligations of users

The information issued on this website is the property of LUP'INGREDIENTS.

Copies of all or part of the website may not be made without the agreement of LUP'INGREDIENTS. Users are responsible for the inquiries that they make and also for their interpretation and the use that they make of the results. It is their responsibility to use the information in compliance with current regulations and the recommendations of the CNIL (the French Data Protection Authority) when the data is personal. 
In particular, they must be aware that the information must be restricted to personal use, that using screen snap-shots to reconstitute or enhance a personal database is against the law in France and therefore forbidden, as well as using it for commercial or advertising purposes.

Under the terms of statute no. 78-17 dated 6 January 1978 as amended by statue no. 2004-801 dated 6 August 2004 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the treatment of personal data, this website has been declared to the CNIL (declaration no. pending). Legal instruments (available on the CNIL website: www.cnil.fr ) Statute no. 78-17 dated 6 January 1978, relating to computing, files and freedom, known as the Data Protection Act, Decision of the CNIL no. 81-94 dated 21 July 1981 adopting a recommendation relating to general security measures for computer systems, Statute no. 88-19 data 5 January 1988 relating to computer fraud, known as the Godfrain Act.

Any third party wishing to set up hypertext links on pages or documents issued on this site, that might be considered to be an infringement of copyright, parasitic commercial practice or libellous, must obtain permission from LUP'INGREDIENTS directly through of the website administrator

Permission will be granted if the links do not contravene the interests of LUP'INGREDIENTS, and if they guarantee that the user can identify that it originated from LUP'INGREDIENTS from the document, in particular if deep hypertext links, framing  or of insertion by links is used.

All reproduction rights reserved (including downloadable documents and iconographic and photographic representations).
Extraction and/or reproduction of information published on the site is prohibited without prior authorisation of LUP'INGREDIENTS and constitutes counterfeiting as sanctioned by sections L.335-2 and following of the French intellectual property code.

The French intellectual property code states that sources must be cited or authorisation requested from authors of images. (Applies to protection of copyright only). As a creation of the mind, images (even screen captures) are therefore protected by copyright (sect. L112-2-9 of the French intellectual property code).
Reproduction or representation of images, texts or documents, without prior authorisation, is punishable by law and is subject to payment of damages. Damages are calculated on a case-per-case basis. They shall depend on the victim's losses, on the prejudice caused by degradation, on the way in which the site is presented and consequences on the author of the site, on the way in which the image was used and loss of financial return for the designer.
